In the video, she commented on how disgusted she was with the condition of the buffet line and showed several empty hot plates throughout the clip.
Many commenters who responded to T. Hollywood’s (@trinasej) video should have known better than to book an all-inclusive, and the essence of these types of resorts are meant to be cash grabs that value the guests. He quipped, “That’s what I did.” Some say they value quantity over quality and that their stay at Riu Republica was also of poor quality.
“This is a sports bar, look!” the TikToker said while documenting the remains of a filthy buffet bar at the all-inclusive resort in Punta Cana he had booked. Bits of tortilla chips are scattered here and there, and a bowl of what appears to be some kind of sauce is almost gone and sits in the corner of the wall.
“They’re holding the shit in their hands,” she says, referring to the behavior of other guests.
“Here’s the cheese,” she continued, opening the stainless steel container containing the queso. The container was almost empty except for the remains of the cheese, which was covered on the surface.
“What’s this?” she asked, opening another container of warmed dishes. It looks like an assortment of hot dogs with lots of sauerkraut.
The next container she opened was completely empty and the serving tongs were sitting in what appeared to be water stained with oil and food. The next container tells the same story. At the end of the clip, she shows off how “filthy” the buffet area is before the video finally cuts out.
Travelers often discuss the terrible offerings at all-inclusive resorts, regardless of TripAdvisor reviews or their hopes of finding an all-inclusive that at least serves food better than “mediocre.”
Many Redditors said they acknowledged that all-inclusives aren’t exactly known for providing guests with the best dining experience.
The travel agency also compiled a list of common food facts that all-inclusives are known for, see how others have commented on the “bland” nature of the food, and consider the size of the resort and its He added that there is usually a correlation between the tastelessness of the fare.

The blog also added that eating raw vegetables at all-inclusive resorts is usually a bad idea. It also says you shouldn’t trust food you don’t see being prepared, and that buffet food is not served at a hot enough temperature, which can cause food poisoning and effectively ruin your vacation. I am.
There are plenty of examples online of people saying their personal experiences with all-inclusives might deter them from booking, while others recommend researching the resort and checking out recent reviews.
Many all-inclusives may seem like an attractive option because they offer discounts and you don’t have to worry about paying for food and drinks during your vacation, but these discounts can have pitfalls. It is not difficult to imagine that there is. We’re going to offer unlimited food for a fairly low price, but there’s probably a reason why that food is so cheap.
Many TikTokers who responded to Hollywood’s video said they weren’t surprised by the quality or lack thereof of the resort, with one writing: “It’s hilarious when you’re expecting $300 for 5 nights.”
Another said they probably expected to get more than they paid for, saying: “You get the cheapest accommodation if you choose the cheapest one.”
Others said this problem could have been resolved if they had taken the time to read reviews of the place they were staying. “Don’t people look at reviews before booking a resort?”
Other TikTokers said they too visited Riu Republica Resort and were disgusted by the experience. We all had stomach issues at the place. The pillows smelled like last year’s guests. It’s ghetto. ”
Hotel Riu Republica on Google has over 10,595 reviews and is rated 4.3 out of 5 stars at the time of writing. However, scrolling through some of the comments left by guests, some commented on their dissatisfaction with the cleanliness of the rooms and the poor quality of the food served there.
