About the PGA Tour
The PGA Tour is America’s largest professional golf tour. There are 36 tournaments scheduled on this season’s tour schedule. Tournaments are primarily held in the United States, but there are also some international venues during the season. The signature event introduced in 2023 will have bigger prizes but fewer participants. There will be a total of eight of these events during the 2024 season. Four majors and the Players Championship are also part of the PGA Tour. At the end of the tour season, the top 70 players in the FedExCup season rankings will compete in a three-tournament playoff for the overall tour championship and an additional $18 million in prize money.
