There’s nothing I love more than an all-inclusive beach break.
Bottomless cocktails, delicious food any time of the day, and entertainment any time of the day – what’s not to like?
An all-inclusive vacation is a no-brainer, especially if you’re traveling with a small family like me.

The Dominican Republic has welcomed more than five million tourists so far this year, according to new statistics.
That’s a 12% increase compared to last year’s record-breaking visitor numbers, according to CaribJournal.
And Punta Cana, as the Caribbean’s all-inclusive resort capital, attracts the most tourists.
Here are some reasons why:
Why choose Punta Cana?
The most appealing elements of a Punta Cana vacation are the stunning white sand beaches, the vast number of direct flights from all over the United States, and the island’s warm and hospitable people.
You can fly from Miami to Punta Cana in under 2.5 hours, and flights are surprisingly affordable.

Frontier Airlines currently offers the cheapest flights between the two cities, with a nonstop flight departing on August 8th and returning on August 12th costing just $256 round-trip (based on current prices).
Punta Cana International Airport is the cheapest airport to fly into the Dominican Republic from the United States, explaining why this destination is so popular.
But people don’t just choose Punta Cana because it’s cheap.

Beautiful beaches, tropical wildlife, palm groves, and the stunning natural beauty of the islands attract visitors to the Dominican Republic.
The island enjoys consistent warmth and sunshine all year round, making there’s never a bad time to visit.
Affordable all-inclusive options
Punta Cana is attracting record numbers of tourists thanks to the quality and affordability of its all-inclusive resorts.
Whether you’re willing to spend a lot of money or want to save a little money, there are great options out there.

With 77 all-inclusive resorts in Punta Cana, you’re spoilt for choice. But with so many options, it can be hard to know which resort to choose.
If you have money to spare, Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana is one of the best all-inclusive resorts in Punta Cana. It’s right on the beach and offers amazing ocean views, so spending a little extra for a sea view room is well worth it.
The resort has a fantastic water park for kids, but also plenty of adult-only spaces to relax and unwind, and the quality of the food is unmatched.
For my hypothetical vacation from August 8th to 12th, I expect it will cost me $765 per night to stay at the resort.

If you’re looking for a budget getaway, the Caribbean Deluxe Princess is a great choice, with great reviews and all-inclusive rates that won’t break the bank.
For $197 per night per couple, you’ll get comfortable air-conditioned rooms and access to a beautiful private white sand beach. The pool bar is the best part here and the extensive cocktail menu is fantastic.
Of course, prices vary depending on the season, room type, and availability, but it’s a great resort option no matter the season.
Why choose an all-inclusive vacation?
While I love taking an all-inclusive vacation every now and then, not everyone is as enthusiastic as I am. Some travelers find all-inclusive resorts to be too expensive or feel they don’t offer an authentic travel experience.
I felt the same way before I took the plunge and tried my first all-inclusive trip, and now I do it every year.
We believe there are many reasons to choose an all-inclusive vacation, especially if you want a hassle-free vacation on the beach.

First, the financial benefits are worth considering: While the upfront costs may be higher than a regular hotel, you pay one price that covers your room, meals, drinks, activities, and entertainment.
You can leave your wallet safely in your room while you explore the resort and eat and drink to your heart’s content.
This is a huge bonus for anyone on a budget or who (like me) has kids with bottomless food cravings who will snack all day until they run out of money.

Another benefit of all-inclusive resorts is the sheer number of activities on offer: from beach yoga to dance classes, paddle boarding to ping pong, horse riding to jet skiing.
On a recent all-inclusive vacation, I took a guacamole-making class with the resort’s executive chef and then participated in a very messy pool foam party.
verdict?
With an all-inclusive vacation, you never have to be bored.
