Air Canada has announced that it will resume nonstop service from Quebec City to popular winter sun destinations such as Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, Punta Cana and Cancun for the 2024-25 winter season. Additionally, the airline will launch a new weekly flight from Quebec City to Tulum, Mexico’s newest airport on the Yucatan Peninsula, beginning Dec. 13, 2024.
Air Canada’s expanded service improves Quebec’s connectivity to key destinations, providing travellers with more convenient winter vacation options. Stéphane Poirier, president and CEO of Quebec City Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB), expressed his delight at the news: “We are excited to see Air Canada’s international flights restored from Quebec City to popular destinations such as Cancun, Punta Cana, Orlando and Fort Lauderdale. We applaud Air Canada’s decision to quickly restore international air service from YQB and invest in the Quebec market by adding new destinations to its 2024-25 winter schedule.”
