Club Med Punta Cana has unveiled newly renovated family rooms, a revamped main restaurant and a new wedding venue.
The resort has renovated 90 family rooms and added 48 new family superior rooms and 36 family deluxe rooms. All units are two-bedroom and are located near the heart of the resort and family-friendly amenities. According to the resort, the rooms’ modern design is “combined with décor that reflects the natural elements of the region, which guests can view from furnished balconies and open-concept bathrooms with large rain showers, inspired by the brand’s Zen Oasis concept, which focuses on wellness and relaxation.”
The resort’s main restaurant, Hispaniola, has been redesigned with what the resort describes as a Caribbean beach bistro inspired by the art, music and culture of Punta Cana. The restaurant’s ocean-facing entrance is decorated with Dominican-inspired décor, bright color elements and trendy modern lighting fixtures. The avant-garde dining concept offers cuisine from around the world, with the grill station serving grilled fish and vegetables, roasted meats from the churrascaria and fresh seafood from the raw fish bar. The restaurant also offers a wide selection of cheeses, freshly baked breads and pastries, and a variety of dining options for children.
New Destination Wedding Venues
The resort has also partnered with Brazil-based wedding planner Grupo Bisutti to open a destination wedding venue, Grupo Bisutti Club Med Punta Cana, which can accommodate up to 250 guests and features a 3,982-square-foot covered outdoor terrace for tropical cocktail hours, receptions and ceremonies.
The resort has also renovated its Club Med Spa by L’Occitane salon, which offers a full menu of beauty treatments to meet all your on-site wellness and wedding needs.
