zipline eco splash
My 13 year old daughter and I took the Zipline Eco Splash tour and it turned out to be our favorite tour ever. Participants must be at least 6 years old and weigh at least 50 pounds. This is a full-day outing departing from the resort at 9:30am and returning at 5:30pm.
Board the bus and travel approximately 30 minutes to Scape Park in Cap Cana. This nature adventure park features cenotes to swim in, waterfalls to walk to, caves to explore, and a water zipline to splash around.
Visits are self-guided, so you can explore the park at your own pace. Hike jungle trails, dip into the warm waters in a zipline hammock, or float from your platform into the calm, clear waters of cenotes (natural swimming holes in limestone caves) like the famous Blue Hole. Let’s jump off. It’s packed with exhilarating fun in a beautiful setting.
Scape Park also offers encounters with animals such as monkeys and snakes, as well as photographers documenting the day. Wear your swimsuit and water shoes, and don’t forget to bring a cell phone protector or money holder to store your locker key and credit card for drinks and snacks along the way.
whale watching
From late January to early April, humpback whales migrate to the warm waters of Samana Bay, an officially protected whale sanctuary located near Club Med Miches (1.5 hours away).
You’ll have a chance to see hundreds of the largest marine mammals breach and erupt through the bay. Be mesmerized by their graceful appearance as you spot a mother whale or her newborn calf gliding underwater. This is a half-day tour for ages 6 and up.
dominican colors
Discover the tropical fruits, coffee, chocolate, and cigars that drive the Dominican economy on the Dominica Colors Tour. Immerse yourself in local color and culture by visiting coffee and cocoa plantations and nearby villages.
This half-day guided trip is recommended for families with children ages 1 and older. Includes drinks, transportation, and traditional delicacies.
lobster cruise
Enjoy a coastal cruise that departs from Club Med’s beach and culminates with a lobster lunch on board. Step out of your boat and swim, snorkel, or enjoy the waterslides in the beautiful turquoise waters of Tortuga Bay or the shallow natural pools of Juanillo.
This relaxing half-day tour can also be reserved for groups. Perfect for children ages 3 and up.
S Emerald Quad Adventure
If you have adrenaline-filled tweens and teens in your family, this ATV tour may be perfect for you. This half-day Miches tour lets those 18 and older drive along rural dirt roads and deserted beaches, while passengers 10 and older enjoy the sea breeze.
