Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic is famous for its sweet white sand beaches and clear turquoise waters. The mild climate, with temperatures reaching 80 degrees year-round, attracts beach-seekers, especially during the colder months in other parts of the world.

Best family activities at Club Med Punta Cana
Families are drawn to Punta Cana for its powdery beaches with aquamarine waters. The crystal clear waters are so warm and beautiful, surrounded by palm trees and palapa huts that you can’t help but feel like you’ve wandered into the middle of an Instagram photo shoot.
As soon as my 13-year-old daughter saw the beach, she ran. She didn’t want to get out of the warm water except to eat. Just by wearing goggles, she was able to observe colorful fish running around. She said it was the best sea bathing she had ever experienced.
Club Med Punta Cana is a 100-acre resort with 32 activities. Tip: Download the Club Med app to see the schedule and dinner dress code (suggestions only, but it’s fun to coordinate). There is a large main pool and one day during our stay a water inflatable course was held.
Club Med is known for its circus school, and its Punta Cana location has a trapeze. My daughter learned to swing in the wind and hook her feet on the bar to bounce into the net. Other activities include water sports such as kayaking and sailing, and land sports such as archery and tennis lessons. It is up to you to choose what is best for you.
The kids club is a big part of Club Med’s appeal. Includes group activities for children ages 4 to 17. Services for infants and children up to 3 years can be booked upon request at an additional charge. Activities for kids include tournaments, water play, arts and crafts, and circus skills. Adults can also enjoy a night out as the Evening Pajama Club can also be booked for an additional fee.

One of the joys of staying at an all-inclusive resort is that all your food and drinks are taken care of. Club Med Punta Cana has 3 restaurants on site.
Hispaniola (the name of the island the Dominican Republic shares with Haiti) is the main buffet restaurant. This open-air restaurant faces the sea and serves a buffet of international flavors. Samana is also a buffet restaurant, but it is located near the main bar and pool area for easy access. Indigo is a waterfront beach lounge where you can order your own food. Reservations are required for dinner.
