The groundbreaking event took place from July 22-26, 2024, when Punta Cana’s Grand Bavaro Princess hosted the “Social Jetsetter Experience,” an innovative program designed to improve travel advisors’ marketing and sales skills through an immersive social media experience.
Unlike traditional FAM trips, this unique initiative required advisors to invest in their professional development by paying a negotiated fee that covered the cost of comprehensive training and a day pass. The program focused on fostering partnerships between suppliers, advisors, and The Social Jet-Setter organization.
Participants had a multifaceted experience exploring all of the Princess Hotels & Resorts in Punta Cana as customers would, with the itinerary including site visits and day passes that allowed advisors to gain an in-depth understanding of each resort’s offerings.
Event highlights included the inaugural Social Jetsetter Paella Competition at the beachfront Cafe Del Mar Restaurant, a sumptuous lunch followed by a lively foam party at Platinum Restaurant at Caribbean Deluxe & Tropical Deluxe Princess, and an exhilarating live pool concert at the adults-only Punta Cana Princess Hotel.
A key element of this experience was content creation, with advisors producing engaging user-generated content based on their own experiences, simultaneously promoting the resort and strengthening their own marketing portfolio.
