PUNTA CANA – Starting October 28, air connectivity between Cartagena, Colombia and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic will be expanded with four weekly non-stop flights operated by Alajet. This new route, launched by the Cartagena Mayor’s Office, strengthens the connection between the two Caribbean hubs and provides wider access from Cartagena to other destinations in the Americas, including São Paulo, Buenos Aires, Santiago, Toronto and Mexico City. Cartagena Mayor Dumec Turbay Paz emphasized the importance of this connection in promoting tourism and establishing Cartagena as a prominent travel hub in the Caribbean.
