BELON PUNTA CANA – The Dominican Republic Ministry of Education (Minado) and the Punta Cana Foundation have opened the Minerva Mirabal Reyes Educational Center in Las dos Jardas, Beron Punta Cana, La Altagracia. This new facility aims to provide quality education to the local community and emphasizes the importance of public-private cooperation in regional development.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by key figures including Francisco de Oleo, Deputy Minister of Teacher Accreditation and Certification, and Punta Cana Foundation President Frank Rainieri. Various organizations contributed to this educational effort, including the Fly & Help Foundation, Veron-Punta Cana District Council, and WIR HELFEN KINDERN.
The center will accommodate 240 students in two shifts and is the result of an agreement signed in May between the Punta Cana Foundation, the Minister of Education and city officials. MINERD manages the center to ensure it meets national educational standards and meets the needs of a growing community.
