Starting in February 2025, Avero will introduce year-round nonstop flights from Bradley International to Punta Cana, expanding travel options for travelers.
The Connecticut Airports Authority (CAA) announced that Avero Airlines will begin annual nonstop service between Bradley International Airport (BDL) and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic (PUJ).
Flights on this new route will begin on February 21, 2025, with twice-weekly flights scheduled every Monday and Friday.
The launch marks Avero’s continued expansion into international markets, following the launch in November of its first international route from BDL to Montego Bay, Jamaica, and Cancun, Mexico.
In addition to international flights, Avero offers flights from BDL, including flights to Charlotte/Concord, North Carolina (USA), Daytona Beach, Florida (DAB), Houston, Texas (HOU), and Orlando/Lakeland, Florida (LAL). It operates domestic flights. , and Wilmington, North Carolina (ILM).
The second largest airport in New England, Bradley International Airport (BDL) is known for its convenience and exceptional customer experience, and is frequently recognized by top travel publications. The airport is operated by the Connecticut Airports Authority, which operates without relying on state funding.
