The event, held at Evergo Connect, the region’s first electric vehicle charging station, highlighted CEPM’s commitment to sustainability and innovation.
Significant updates include the development of Bavaro’s FV3 solar park, which is equipped with the region’s largest energy storage system capable of delivering 40 MWh of energy for four consecutive hours. CEPM also announced plans for new solar power facilities (FV4, FV5, and FV6). The latter is the largest under the CEPM Zero Strategy. With $56.4 million in financing from IDB Invest, FV6 will have a capacity of 78 MW and 30 MWh of battery storage. CEPM aims to add 300 MW of wind power to its energy portfolio by 2027, advancing its goal of 100% clean energy generation.
CEPM’s efforts extend beyond energy production to promoting sustainable tourism.
