Inside Punta Cana Bay Hotel
Meliá Hotels International plans to expand its presence in the Dominican Republic with the opening of two new hotels under the INNSiDE by Meliá brand. The move marks the company’s first franchised hotel in the Caribbean and furthers its regional expansion.
With 45 hotels in Europe, Asia and the Americas, the INNSiDE brand caters to the modern traveler and offers affordable lifestyle experiences in urban centers and vacation destinations.
The upcoming hotels, INNSiDE Punta Cana Downtown and INNSiDE Punta Cana Bay, are being developed by Spain’s Vivantia Homes and are scheduled to open in 2027. These hotels are located near Punta Cana International Airport.
The 290-room INNSiDE Punta Cana Downtown is located in the heart of Punta Cana. It offers easy access to commercial zones, entertainment options and residential projects in a safe and family-friendly environment. The 186-room INNSiDE Punta Cana Bay is located on Arena Gorda Beach, a popular water sports destination known for its palm trees, lush vegetation, and turquoise waters.
Both hotels feature a variety of dining options, wellness areas, meeting rooms, swimming pools, gyms and movie theaters. Healthy drink options, yoga sessions, cycling tours and creative meeting rooms are also available. The brand aims to celebrate local culture by organizing events and showcasing the work of local artists.

Melia Hotels International, which operates the Melia Hotels & Resorts and Paradisus brands in Punta Cana, is set to open its first Zel Hotel outside of Spain.
