Dominican Republic: The Basics of the New St. Regis Capkana
The St. Regis Capkana is accepting reservations for stays as of April 15, 2025. It is located on the eastern coast of the Dominican Republic near Punta Cana.
The property has 200 keys, including 174 rooms and 26 suites. In terms of amenities, the resort includes four pools, beach access, a spa with 13 treatment rooms, a fitness centre, a club for kids, and St. Regis Butler Service. Also nearby the property is the 18-hole Waterfront Punta Espada Golf Course, designed by Jack Nicklaus.
The resort features 9 incredible meals and drink locations, including Nina (Chef Diegomnos, open for dinner), Cassava (Latin American restaurant, open all day), and Amber Room (Rum and cigar bar). Carrybay Seaside Bar (a casual outdoor restaurant open for lunch and dinner), Kawa Coffee Shop (a coffee and chocolate shop).
The St. Regis Capkana entry-level room starts at 560 square feet (50 square meters). Standard suites begin at 1,130 square feet (102 square meters) and some accommodations also offer direct pool access.
The property is designed by Chapochap Design, the same company behind St. Regis Canai (Mexico) and Amanyara (Turkey & Caicos).
