The long-awaited debut of the new W Punta Cana is finally on a date.
Marriott opened its new comprehensive resort on April 15th, becoming one of the first W hotels globally and one of the first W hotels in Punta Cana. Now your reservation is open.
The official opening took a long time for Marriott. Marriott calls the property “a comprehensive experience for older adults.” The hotel company signed a deal to build and open the resort in 2022, targeting Punta Cana as the destination to launch the comprehensive brand.
The hotel offers 340 rooms and suites, ranging from standard premier rooms with terraces and tropical views to three bedroom Larimar Penthouse Suites, which includes its own private pool. In the meantime, there will also be a signature W suite and a two-bedroom oasis suite, including access to the hotel’s oceanfront area.
For food and drinks, W Punta Cana has 13 bars, including Asian noodles bars, Mediterranean restaurants called Taman, Cayfront restaurants serving Caribbean cuisine, and Satsuma rooftop bars and lounges offering Puri And there is a restaurant. -Dinner Drinks and Small Bites.
The hotel also features an away spa with 10 treatment rooms, a 1,500-square-foot gym and dual outdoor swimming pools.
