Afro Nation, which has been celebrating global black music and culture for over five years, is planning an intimate experience across three venues over three action-packed days with a thrilling lineup of African and international heavy hitters.

Since its founding in 2019, Afro Nation has celebrated Black music and culture from around the world, bringing superstar artists to must-see events across Europe, Africa, the United States, and Puerto Rico. This fall, Afro Nation returns to the Caribbean with a multi-day experience at Afro Nation Punta Cana. Today, the international brand announces the lineup for its first event in the Dominican Republic, with headliners Afrobeats prodigy Ira Starr, hitmaker hip-hop princess Sexy Red, and Amapiano originator DJ Maphorisa. The three headliners will be supported by a thrilling line-up of leading and established artists from Africa and the diaspora, representing additional genres such as dancehall, electronic and more. With more artists to be announced in the near future, Afro Nation Punta Cana will be held in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic from November 7th to 9th.
Afro Nation Punta Cana is unique among Afro Nation events, offering an intimate, multi-day experience with great music at three different venues around the beautiful beach town. The first section of the event will see Afro Nation visit Pearl Beach Club for two nights of dancing. On the final day of the event, Afro Nation will take over El Dorado Waterpark, creating a festival-like atmosphere on the park grounds with performances from the event’s biggest artists. With a number of partner resorts creating a seamless experience, Afro Nation Punta Cana is your one-way ticket to paradise with beautiful fall music and great weather.
Afro Nation Punta Cana continues the Afro Nation tradition of producing high-profile events in diverse locations around the world. With a reputation as the world’s largest Afrobeats festival, Afro Nation has hosted events in Portugal, Ghana, and Puerto Rico, and produced U.S. festivals in Miami and Detroit. Last year, Afro Nation hosted Afro Nation Detroit 2024, bringing in stars like Lil Wayne, Asake, and Rema to tear up the historic music city.
Afro Nation is dedicated to providing a global platform for the music of Africa and its diaspora. Additionally, Afro Nation hosts a weekly UK Afrobeats Charts show in partnership with BBC Radio 1xtra and the Official Charts Company, and in 2022 partnered with Billboard to launch the first US Afrobeats Charts.
