W Hotels, part of Marriott Bonvoy’s global portfolio, has officially opened the brand’s first adult-only all-inclusive resort, W Punta Cana Adult All-Inclusive. Located on the east coast of the Dominican Republic, the property marks the next chapter in W Hotels’ expansion into the luxury all-inclusive segment.
Developed in partnership with Grupo Puntacana and MAC Hotels, W Punta Cana offers the brand’s signature energy and bold design while reimagining what an all-inclusive experience can be like. The resort features 340 spacious rooms and suites, each with king-sized beds, ocean views, and upscale amenities such as in-room dining and a 24-hour maxi bar. Notably, 46 suites feature swim-up access or full-size private pools.
DESIGN, DINING AND A UNIQUE EXPERIENCE
Zanobia Arquitectura led the resort’s design, drawing on the Dominican Republic’s colonial history, natural landscape, and cultural symbols such as larimar and native animals. The result is a visually immersive environment that blends local identity with contemporary luxury.

Spanning 400 meters of beachfront, public spaces include a distinctive WET deck with an 80-meter infinity pool, a secluded chill pool with swim-up bar, and lush landscaping with native plants. The low-density layout fosters a balanced open-air atmosphere that combines social energy with a private escape.

Cultural, health and creative events
W Punta Cana’s program represents local culture and global flair, featuring live music carefully selected by local artists, rooftop DJ sessions, silent discos, and artist residencies. AWAY Spa features 10 treatment rooms, a salt room, sauna, steam room, beauty salon and a focus on wellness with a 24/7 FIT gym and outdoor yoga.
W Punta Cana offers 14,000 square feet of flexible space for meetings and events, including a 5,380 square foot ballroom and multiple breakout rooms.
This opening highlights W Hotels’ strategic growth in the all-inclusive market. In 2028 and 2029, two more all-inclusive W properties will be built in Corasol Playa del Carmen and Costa Mujeres.
