Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced plans to expand its all-inclusive portfolio in the Dominican Republic with Secrets Macau Beach Punta Cana, an adults-only resort scheduled to open in 2026. The property will be managed by a Hyatt affiliate under an agreement with GSM Investissements Dominicana SRL, the current owner of Dreams Macau Beach Punta Cana.
The resort will feature 406 guest rooms, including junior suites, master suites, and presidential suites, as well as 111 swim-out suites and 13 high-level panoramic swim-out suites.
GSM Investissements Dominicana “We are pleased to continue our relationship with Hyatt on the project for Secrets Macau Beach,” said SRL Manager George Santamaria. “Building on the success of Dreams Macau Beach Punta Cana, we are confident that this resort will perfectly complement Hyatt’s existing brand footprint in the destination and offer the best adults-only experience that will further enhance the appeal of this stunning location and its natural beauty.”
The resort features nine restaurants representing international cuisine and nine bars serving domestic and international spirits, including a sports bar, cigar lounge, and Coco Café, which serves light snacks. Set within the on-site organic garden, the farm-to-table restaurant offers a sustainable culinary experience using locally sourced ingredients. Preferred Club guests have access to a fine dining restaurant with a carefully selected menu and elevated service.
Guests staying at Secrets Macau Beach Punta Cana enjoy Hyatt’s Unlimited Luxury Inclusion with pool and beach service, 24-hour room and concierge service, daily activities, entertainment, and nightly programming. The property includes three pools: a main pool with a beach club feel, an activity pool with panoramic ocean views, and a rooftop pool for Preferred Club members. The resort is adjacent to Dreams Macau Beach Punta Cana and offers shared restaurants and amenities. A convention center that can accommodate up to 1,000 people offers meeting and event options.
“The Dominican Republic continues to be a preferred destination for customers seeking an adults-only, all-inclusive luxury experience, and our commitment to grow with purpose continues to pervade this highly coveted region.” said Fernando Fernandez, vice president of inclusive collection development at Hyatt. “We are excited to strengthen our relationship with GSM Investissements Dominicana SRL and bring the Secret Resort & Spa brand to Macau Beach, recognized by UNESCO as one of the best beaches in the Caribbean.”
Secrets Macau Beach Punta Cana further expands the Hyatt Inclusive Collection in the Dominican Republic, joining recently opened properties such as Secrets Playa Esmeralda Resort & Spa and Dreams Playa Esmeralda Resort & Spa in Miches, and Secrets La Romana Resort & Spa and Dreams La Romana Resort & Spa in La Romana. The portfolio will continue to grow in Q4 2025 with the scheduled opening of Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana.
