SANTO DOMINGO – The Dominican Republic Restaurant Association (ADERES) and the Dominican Republic Hotels and Tourism Association (ASONAHORES) announced the 8th Restaurant Week 2025, the country’s largest culinary event with the participation of more than 180 restaurants nationwide.
The festival will be held in Santiago (September 1-7), Punta Cana (September 8-14) and Santo Domingo (September 15-21) and will offer two- and three-course menus at fixed prices (RD$1,395 and RD$1,795 + tax). This initiative focuses on Dominican gastronomy, promotes tourism, and strengthens the local economy.
Diners also have access to a virtual passport through www.restaurantweek.com.do that offers special promotions and allows them to vote for standout restaurants. Last year’s winners included Temporada, Ajualá, Café SBG, Casa Luca, Casa Brava and Santino, with chef Hideki Tateyama receiving the Dominican Gastronomy Folk Award.
American Express, with support from the Ministry of Tourism and key sponsors, continues to be a key partner and offer 20% cash back to cardholders.
