Club Med has officially unveiled the new look of its North American flagship resort, Club Med Punta Cana, currently celebrating its grand opening.
Over the past few years, Club Med has transformed the iconic all-inclusive resort. The Dominican Republic property underwent a major expansion in 2023 and 2024, adding a new family room, new Hispaniola restaurant, wedding venue, Sin Mondes Spa, and Club Med’s largest waterpark.
Club Med announced further renovations to its Punta Cana grounds in April. Building on a recent complete refurbishment, renovations include remodeling social spaces and updating accommodation and food and beverage facilities.
The entrance to Club Med Punta Cana is now a 360-degree outdoor panoramic welcome area called the Buena Vista Lounge. Known as the “heart of the resort,” the public areas feature a bohemian-chic design with ocean views.
Renovations have updated the Deluxe Rooms at Costa del Coco (pictured above). Channeling the spirit and natural beauty of the Caribbean, these rooms feature private balconies and luxurious spa-like bathrooms.
On the dining front, Club Med has reimagined its main dining concept. El Mundo Food Club offers a fusion of international flavors while maintaining an airy, bohemian aesthetic. The dining venue has indoor and outdoor seating.

The poolside bar, Joia Bar, has also been reborn. Facing the resort’s main pool, this public space is designed as a relaxing and inviting spot for lounging during the day and socializing in the evening.
Finally, Club Med Punta Cana has opened The Coffee Shop, a cafe offering a variety of coffees, teas, pastries, snacks and other treats.

Travel advisors can now learn more about Club Med Punta Cana through the revamped Club Med University education and benefits platform. Earlier this week, Club Med relaunched its Travel Advisor resources and reaffirmed its commitment to the industry.
