Eurochange predicts where Brits will fly to in 2026 Thanks to a recent financial transaction, that’s the Dominican Republic.

Laura Evans-Fiske, head of digital and engagement at Eurochange, said: “With Dominican peso transactions surging ahead of other currencies this year, there is no doubt that the Dominican Republic will be at the top of UK tourists’ bucket list by 2026.
“While the Dominican Republic is not typically considered an affordable destination, mid-range hotels are available from around £60 per night, and meals at authentic local restaurants often start from around £4.”
The best time to visit the Dominican Republic is during the dry season from December to April, with highs expected to reach 30 degrees this week.

Author Juli Graziano traveled to the Dominican Republic to head to the all-inclusive resort of Margaritaville Island Reserve.
If you can get a lime in your life, make a margarita – as the slogan says on the indoor margarita station.
And that’s a motto I quickly adopt, pouring myself another glass of freshly made Blitz cocktail, then taking it out and drinking it on my balcony, watching the gentle waves below.
You wouldn’t expect anything less from the Margaritaville Island Reserve in the Dominican Republic.
But having your own cocktail station where you can make fresh cocktails without having to change out of your pajamas was just the beginning of the fun at this beachfront resort.
