SANTO DOMINGO – Popeyes® has announced that it will open its sixth restaurant in the Dominican Republic this December in the food court of Megacentro Mall in Santo Domingo Este. According to Isabel Turull, CEO of Grupo Agape, the expansion follows the successful launch of the first branches in Santo Domingo, La Vega and Santiago and reinforces the brand’s commitment to providing a flavorful and tradition-inspired dining experience.
The inauguration will feature a New Orleans-style celebration that reflects the brand’s roots. Popeyes® introduces signature fried chicken, prepared fresh, marinated for 12 hours in Louisiana-style Cajun spices, hand-breaded and cooked for a signature crispy outside and juicy inside. Marketing director Alexandra Bodden highlighted the popularity of the chain’s iconic chicken sandwich, which has gained worldwide attention for its distinctive flavor.
The new Megacentro location will be open daily from 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., offering dine-in and delivery services, bringing Popeyes® famous chicken to Santo Domingo Este consumers.
