Lopesan Hotel Group is expanding its footprint in the Dominican Republic with the introduction of three new resorts opening in late spring 2026: Lopesan Caoba Lagoon Resort, Spa & Casino, Lopesan Serenity Bay and Lopesan Splash Cove.
The new resort is located in the Bavaro district of Punta Cana. It boasts wide beaches, warm Caribbean waters, and a relaxing coastal environment.
Lopesan Caoba Lagoon Resort, Spa & Casino
The opening of Lopesan Caoba Lagoon Resort, Spa & Casino marks the launch of Flow, an introductory campaign inspired by the idea that humans, at their core, are made mostly of water.
This theme is realized through a cenote-inspired pool and expansive lagoon set within landscaped gardens, with water shaping both the resort’s design and feel. Amenities range from the Bella Beach Club pool and wave pool to Aquatica waterpark and private beach access.
Wellness at Lopesan Caoba Lagoon is approached through an extensive spa and fitness facility, with more advanced wellness services planned, including a 16,000 square foot spa with 31 treatment rooms.
Lopesan Caoba Lagoon also has event and group facilities for meetings, weddings and social functions. The Lopesan Convention Center offers flexible space for everything from corporate gatherings to reunions, with outdoor gardens and nearby beachfront areas perfect for celebrations.
The centerpiece of the resort is The Boulevard, an easy-to-walk outdoor promenade lined with chef-driven dining concepts, casual restaurants, cocktail bars, and late-night restaurants. This thoroughfare is shared by guests staying at Lopesan Caoba Lagoon, Lopesan Serenity Bay, Lopesan Splash Cove and Lopesan Costa Bavaro, and serves as a central gathering point for the entire complex.

Lopesan Serenity Bay (Adult Only)
Designed for adults only, Lopesan Serenity Bay is created for guests seeking “a quieter pace while staying connected to the energy of the larger resort complex,” according to the announcement.
The resort has 239 suites, all housed in one modern building offering a more intimate scale. Guests at Serenity Bay have access to entertainment at the complex, which includes an 820-seat theater, nightclub, and casino. Adults-only fine dining includes the Enclave (a la carte), The Garden (buffet), and Calma Bar (pool bar).
Lopesan Splash Cove
Created for families and multi-generational travelers, Lopesan Splash Cove is a water-centric leisure concept. The resort has 244 rooms in one five-story building, surrounded by landscaped gardens.
Its facilities include five pools, including a dedicated children’s pool, quiet lounging areas for downtime, and space for entertainment and sports programs. The beach is approximately 720 meters from the resort and easily accessible.
